Historically, almost every time the Fed entered a tightening cycle, the yield curve flattened in tandem

Headline inflation in China fell to 0.9% in January. This compares to CPI levels of 7.5% and 5.1% in the US and Eurozone. China has ample room to loosen its monetary policy. This divergence brings diversification benefits and is positive for risky assets, including equities

The market has priced in seven 25-bps hikes this year and two more next year. Fed tightening is in everyone's mind.
